The Jonas Salk Middle School PTA would like to welcome you to the new school year. The PTA is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, teachers, and staff members, with one goal, to work for the benefit and enrichment of our children through programs and activities.
The PTA is very involved in a number of activities with our school. We work closely with our Principals to provide the students with as many activities and educational programs as financially possible throughout the school year. The Jonas Salk Middle School PTA, like many other schools, works very hard for our children. We hold fundraisers in order to provide the students with those activities, supplies, and gifts that they have come to look forward to. We do try our best to limit these fundraisers and do the most with the money raised.
Listed below are some of the things we have helped provide for the children in the past years and would like to continue this year as well

- · 7th Grade Trip to Fairview
- · 8th Grade Dance
- · 8th Grade Barbecue
- · 8th Grade Graduation
The support of everyone is needed to ensure our continued success. If you have not done so already, please join the team. All that is required is your annual dues of $8.00 (or $10.00 for magnet and membership dues) per person, which helps fund our many activities and events throughout the school year. If you have more than one child in the school, it is only necessary to join once.
