    Prerequisite:

    • Successful completion of a U.S. History I course

    This course is designed to follow the chrono­logical history presented in U.S. History I. The course will cover the chronological history of the United States from 1900 to the present time. Throughout the course, the students will acquire a greater appreciation for the forces of historical change, which will give them a better understanding of the world in which they live. A variety of historical research projects will be required in this course.


    U.S. HISTORY II HONORS         (9722)                    Grade 11-12        5 Credits (Honors)

    Prerequisite:

    • Minimum grade of B- in US History I Honors or an A- in US History I CP.

    This course is designed for the college bound student. The course utilizes a chronological approach and is designed to follow the chronological history presented in U.S. History I.  The course will cover the chronological history of the United States from 1900  to the present time. Students in this course will use multiple sources and be required to complete a variety of historical research projects. Students who take this course should have excellent reading, writing, and research skills.
