Welcome to our Culinary Arts Website!
This is an introductory level course designed to introduce students to the foundation of basic kitchen
skills, including basic hygiene, food safety and sanitation, food preparation techniques, nutrition as well
as household kitchen tools and equipment. Food is fundamental to life, for our bodies, and is often the
centerpiece for family gatherings and social functions. In addition, students learn about food culture,
food history and current food trends.
