Memorial School- 4th Grade- Room 106- Welcome!

  • Welcome to our class!

I am looking forward to a very productive and successful 2019-2020 school year!

Throughout the 4th grade school year your child’s responsibilities increase, as does the level and amount of work. Be sure to communicate on a daily basis with your child about what they are learning in class and how they are progressing. Several lines of communication have been established in order to make this process a positive experience for all. The following items will be introduced to your child: Class Dojo; Academic Agenda; Take Home Folder; Reading Log/Book Report Folder; Friday Folder; and Test Folder.

Please be sure to check your child’s Take Home Folder, Academic Agenda, Friday Folder, and Test Folder on a regular basis to see all they have accomplished. As well, this helps keep a line of communication open between you and your child about what they are learning, what they enjoy, and/or what they may be struggling with. Guide your child in creating a quiet area at home where they can keep important school materials organized and safe, as well as,  sit comfortably while completing at home assignments, projects, and test preparation. Set aside time each night to review homework, long term assignments, and study guides for upcoming tests.

Please do not hesitate to contact me through Class Dojo, Email (pmcallan@obps.org), or by writing a note in your child's agenda, if you have any questions.

Please use this site to locate important information about related arts schedules, upcoming events, and projects.

As always, thank you for your consideration and support.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. McAllan
