Based upon the weather impacting our region resulting in a New Jersey State of Emergency, the Agenda Session scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, 2024, has been cancelled.
ALL school district activities will conclude by 4pm. This does not include the Township Aftercare Program. However, the Aftercare Program is requesting parents/guardians pick up their children this evening as early as possible.
Old Bridge Township Public Schools will begin winter recess with an early dismissal day on Friday, December 22, 2023. All schools will reopen after the recess with a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences are this week. All elementary students will have an early dismissal Tuesday 11/28, Wednesday 11/29 and Thursday 11/30. Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:15pm.
Old Bridge Township Public Schools will begin the Thanksgiving Recess on Wednesday, November 22nd with an early dismissal at all of our schools. Schools will remain closed throughout the holiday weekend and will reopen on Monday, November 27th with a regular schedule.
As a reminder, Old Bridge Township Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 7th for Election Day and Thursday and Friday, November 9th and 10th for the NJ Teacher's Conference.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! We are thrilled to have your children back. Our Old Bridge School District is committed to ensuring their safety, providing extraordinary learning opportunities, and fostering a sense of family within our district.
Please pay particular attention as I have some important information to share as we embark on this new academic journey.
First, due to extreme heat conditions, Old Bridge Schools will operate on an early dismissal schedule for students on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Families can find the early dismissal schedule on our district website. Please be advised the township aftercare program will operate immediately after our elementary schools dismiss at 1:15 pm.
Additionally, we kindly request your patience during the first few days of school. Both students and staff will be adjusting to newly assigned transportation routes. This usually causes some delays as new school age parents and guardians deliver and retrieve their child from the bus. Accuracy is paramount when placing children on their school buses, so we ask all parties to double-check assignments.
Lastly, please be mindful of ongoing road paving on Route 516 in the area of Route 9, as it may impact transportation times across the district. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

June 15th is an early dismissal day and the last day of classes, with the exception of Carl Sandburg Middle School.
The last day of classes for Carl Sandburg students is June 16th as an early dismissal day.
