ELL

Our district provides an English language learner (ELL) program for students who need instruction in English as a second language. The goal of the ELL program is to provide English language instruction to prepare children so that they perform successfully in all classes. The ELL teachers work with classroom teachers to help children develop English language skills, cultural awareness and learning strategies they will need to succeed in school and in the community.

The ELL program offers a curriculum designed to teach students listening, speaking, reading and writing skills necessary for success in school. Participation in this program will help your child succeed in school.

Parents/guardians have the right to decline the services being offered. A child’s academic progress may be limited should one decide against participation in this program.

Sincerely yours,

Ms. Anahita Keiller
